Kelly Janiec was born and raised in Bergen County but after many years of spending time with local friends, permanently moved to Frankford with her husband in 2017.

After graduating from Garfield High School in 2001, she received an A.S. in Exercise Science at Bergen Community College then later a B.S. in Exercise Science, Physical Education, and Health with K-12 Dual Certification in Physical Education and Health at Montclair State University.

She has been a middle school teacher for 17 years and was a high school
head coach of Softball for 7 seasons. During these years she has a wealth
of experience in developing/coordinating programs, motivational leadership,
and fundraising. She is a mother of 2 girls and her family has been
parishioners since 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace. During this time, she
has helped spear-headed numerous church functions and activities, one
being the co-coordinator of the Food Truck and Live Music Festival and is
now looking forward to focusing her efforts on the Youth Group.
